Who we are

About Fuck Off Cause You're Stupid

A publication built for people who are tired of watching bad arguments win by default.

What we do

Fuck Off Cause You're Stupid exposes bad arguments, internet nonsense, manipulative marketing, misinformation, and the confidently repeated ideas that don't survive basic scrutiny. We aim the criticism at claims, systems, incentives, and reasoning, not at people who got misled through no fault of their own.

We started this site because corrections never travel as far as the original lie. A false statistic can circle the internet three times before a fact-check finishes loading. Someone has to write down, in plain language, exactly where an argument breaks and why a marketing tactic works on people who are paying attention just as much as people who aren't.

Our brand story

The name is blunt on purpose. It's a filter. If you came here expecting a gentle, both-sides explainer, this isn't it. If you came here because you're tired of watching weak reasoning get treated as fact because it was said with enough confidence, you're in the right place.

What we cover

What we never do

We don't bully children or minors, organize harassment campaigns, publish home addresses or private contact information, mock victims of violence, abuse, illness, or disaster, or encourage threats or physical harm. Profanity here is used for rhythm and emphasis, not as a substitute for evidence.

Meet the writer

Max Holloway

Max Holloway

Satirical Commentary and Media-Literacy Writer

Max Holloway writes about misinformation, bad arguments, internet culture, corporate communication, public relations, consumer manipulation, and technology hype for Fuck Off Cause You're Stupid.

His articles examine how weak ideas become persuasive through repetition, emotional language, selective evidence, misleading statistics, artificial authority, and confident presentation.

Max's approach begins with the claim itself. He identifies what is being asserted, what evidence is offered, which assumptions are hidden, and what information has been omitted.
